Jerry Roedell is the only Driver from Peoria

ever to compete in the National '400' Nascar Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway,

Art Brady of Peoria, Illinois was the 1st. Peoria Stock Car Driver to Compete in the Daytona '500'. He drove for 'Wildcat' Williams from East Peoria.
